Does the Eskom Energy Crisis Mean We Can't Buy Electric SUVs?

Eskom is killing our dreams. Load shedding is against electric cars, which are the future... Say Hello... ... to the Aston Martin Lagonda... ... All terrain, full electric SUV... ... still a concept at this stage but probably in the works... so save up. It has a mansion worth of space... No cumbersome old fashioned engine or petrol tank... ... the key just floats there. IT FLOATS... it is not touching the surface... The front seats can rotate and turn to face the back seats... for those intimate conversations. ... And of course you to need to charge all this futuristic power.  Do you see electric car charging stations in Mzansi's near future? I don't. Even if you set up your own private one, in your own garage, you going to need an power generator soon, because of load shedding. What's the average age of parliament anyway? 70. Aren't our leaders a bit too old to see the future? They are.  Can they really plan 10 years ahead if they're al...

In Case You Missed It; A Pop Culture Recap Of March In And Out ZA.

Once upon a time in Mzansi. Elliot died. No one called the ambulance... 'Cause Ralphie was on the scene... He is a man'o God. ... this is his job description. His specialty... Did Mzansi just discover immortality? "Rise!" Elliot is back with the leaving... He can't believe it... Praise unto the gods. Mampintsha makes an appearance... to pull his two signature moves; The Vuma... ... And this recent one... ... I think it was tasteful for the OM guys not to use a female for this scene... 'cause it wasn't funny watching Mampintsha slap Babes because she came home drunk. ... and of course, R. Kelly makes the cut... ... with an epic monologue... Is R. Kelly innocent? I don't know, he married Aaliyah way back then, and she was like 12 or something... He was 26. ... and Gayle was like "Robert"... "Robert"... If you were out on vacation and you missed some stuff that was happening around Mzan...

KO _ Supa Dupa

KO has released visuals for his new single, Supa Dupa. Let's watch and see what it's all about. First shot is getting us ready for dreamy, psychedelic shots.  That's KO there showing us that even when he was a kid, lying on the grass, he dreamt of stars and space.  Big dreams. He has bleached his hair.  Black paint on her, as if she not black enough. I don't understand what this running on a vinyl is all about. Maybe the girls chasing him because of his record or the FX department was just flexing their muscle. The themes of Supa Dupa are usual rap themes. Nothing ground breaking.  ... When he was down. ... We clowns used to kicks him. He used to dream about flashy cars. ... Now he is sitting on the bonnet with cupid on the driver's seat. This is KO on a bed. A bed is where most dreams occur.  He warns us about city snakes... but he's all cosy with a few.  ... "mirror mirror on the wall... who's the bla...

MashBeatz ft A-Reece _ Honest

A-Reece has released visuals for his new track, Honest.  Your boy has lost a little weight but he can still rap. That's him and his Wrecking Crew, looking lonely in the forrest. That looks like it might be Flame but I can't see, too much smoke in the way. ... and of course the location private. There is honestly not much to see in this music video, unless you a hardcore Wrecking Crew stan. A-Reece's song is short and precise. One 16 between two hooks. His fans will be happy with it. His visuals however, don't look creative or psychedelic, just low budget, with too many effects that don't make any sense aesthetically... A-Reece still sounds like he is channelling Drake. 3.1/5

Matwetwe Actor Murdered Over A Phone.

I was hoping this was a hoax... But everyone I ask confirms it. A young talent dies over a mugging. Sibusiso Khwinana  He was one of the main characters in a local popular movie that came out all over cinemas recently. Here he is, in character.  The Walter White of weed. ... Rest In Peace Sibusiso. I hope the police or the government are counting. You are not our first celebrity to be a victim of a petty crime gone terribly wrong.  If our beloved celebrities are not safe in our streets, then what we?

Sjava: Umama (music video)

Sjava has dropped visuals for his new song, titled Umama. It is a sweet song dedicated to moms and all the special things they do for us. Would it have been too cheesy to release it on Mother's Day? Umama is basically about how Sjava - even though he is an old man covered in beard, misses his mom. I think most can relate. Let me watch the music video and see what it is all about; Here is Sjava, sick of fans and fame, he just wants to see his mom. So he leaves. Sjava is the humble fella. He left his sports cars at his mansion. He is hitch hiking. ... not once ... ... but twice.  The guys at the back are laughing at this bearded celebrity, hitch hiking. Cows are a sign that he is close to home. He is about to see his Mama. His mom sees him from a distance. Sjava just stands there and lets his old mommy run to him. Mama thanks her ancestors for keeping Sjava safe and making him rich. Sjava is happy next to Mama again. I always wondered if ...
